The Phase 4 of the Technology Enabled Learning (TEL) initiative geared towards developing practical guidelines for regulating the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Higher Education and assessing TEL’s impact on student learning, was launched on today at The Docks in Port Louis. This initiative is a collaboration between the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Commonwealth of Learning (COL).

AMemorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Science and Research and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sirmaur was signed on 31 January 2025, in Réduit. This was followed by the signing of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) between IIM Sirmaur, the University of Mauritius (UoM), and the University of Technology, Mauritius (UTM).
